Wrap Up to the Week...

This weekend consisted of paint, a graduation ceremony, and a celebration of that graduation at my parent's house. As far as the paint goes, I was able to put in some time last night and this morning to finish the kitchen. Now it's just a matter of putting everything back up on the walls. The graduation ceremony was today at 2:00 in Yager Stadium (the Miami football stadium), and the weather was, while a little on the warm side, about as good as you could ask for. Afterall, it was sandwiched between a day of rain on Friday and an anticipated day of rain on Sunday. And after the ceremony, we had a great time hangin' out and stuffing our faces for a few hours. Thank you all who came and helped make today great! As always, the kids made it extra special.

It seems to be a natural extension from Thursday's post (especially given the fact that today was graduation) to make today's 'Heard from the Word' (I'm trying to come with a better name for this, so let me know what you think) from Phil. 4:13. "I can all things through Christ who gives me strength." Isn't that the truth!! All things includes completing school while supporting my family financially, maintaining a healthy and absoultely wonderful marriage, and raising our son. What a journey! I'm excited to see what God has in store for the coming years.
